April's Glossybox Review

Wednesday, 16 April 2014
Hi Guys! So, a few days ago I recieved my Glossybox (probably one of the best times of the month for me), and I thought I would share my thoughts on this months product samples! Maybe tempt you in subscribing to the monthly goodie box? For those of you who dont know what Glossybox is, let me tell you...

Glossybox  is a monthly subscription beauty box which delievers 5 beauty samples straight to your door. Your surprise beauty treat is wrapped in a beautiful box and the theme changes every month, depending on holidays and seasons. They have different subscription plans which you can cancel at any time, and the box delivered is tailored to you. Glossybox is great for those who, like me, don't like spending too much on high-end products which I don't know about. It gives you the luxury experience without paying out a load of money and you basically get to try before you buy!

So when I recieved my April's Glossybox I thought I would try all my products and do a little review for you all!

As you can see it's beautifully presented! I have every single box still from when I first started to get them (along with unused products, whoops!). But the boxes are great for storage as they're so well made and so so pretty!

Tresemme Instant Refresh Dry Shampoo - £5.25 full size
This was the first product I found, not the most exciting thing plus I already use this as my 'go to' dry-shampoo. Always great to have a spare though! I do love this dry-shampoo however, if you don't have time to wash your hair or you need a bit of an uplift, this is great for those days! It's also festival season soon so a definite must-have for all you ladies (or men) that need a spruse up!

Monu Spa Warming Ginger Massage & Body Oil - £26 for full size (100ml)
This was the next thing I picked up, a little more interesting than the first. I added a few drops of this into my bath that evening and it smelt lovely and left my skin feeling really smooth! I will try this on my skin without it being in the bath and see how it feels. If I'm honest I'm really not one of those girls who's crazy about skincare things (probably should be) so having samples like this is perfect for me as I tend not to buy actual products.

QV Gentle Wash Cleanser - £6.06 full size (250ml)
This is a mild foaming cleanser for the treatment of dry, scaly skin and relief of symptoms of atopic or infantile eczema and psoriasis, which should be lightly massaged onto skin, rinsed off and gently dried. It can also be a make-up remover. This can be used on the face and body. I used this in my bath and massaged it into my arms where I have some dry patches and on my face to remove excess make-up and to cleanse. It didn't irritate my eyes and also felt very silky when applied to the skin. Obviously you would need to use this often to see results but so far so good!

MeMeMe Cosmetics Cheek & Lip Tint in Cupid's Kiss - £5.50 full size
Now this I was excited about, although not expensive this product is perfect for Spring/Summer. I applied this with several coats to get the really bright colour and it was gorgeous! I love it. It's perfect if you are out and about all day as it doesn't budge! Apply a layer of lipgloss over the top or lip balm to keep your lips hydrated, but I found I didn't really need to. Can also be applied onto cheeks for a soft glossy glow and hint of colour.

Emite Make Up Lip Brush L312 - £17
I used this to apply my MeMeMe Cheek & Lip Tint and it is ridiculously soft! It just glides the product on and it's synthetic so easily cleaned! The brush is actually fairly big compared to other lip brushes I've tried, which means more coverage on the lip but it is still very precise by having that angled tip. I will definitely be using this more.

Overall, this box was good. Not the best as you would expect more high-end products and the dry-shampoo I've already got. But I will be using all the products in this box again so all in all I'm pleased.

What did you get in your Glossybox this month and what are your thoughts on this month's products?

If you haven't subscribed to Glossybox yet and would like to, I've linked every Glossybox word so give it a click and have a look around!

Thank you for reading! Lots of love xo
